RightWay ABA is a woman-owned, BCBA-led organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. We specialize in offering in-home and center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children between the ages of 2 and 18.
At RightWay, we invest in our team’s growth. We provide comprehensive training and support for Behavior Technicians (BTs) to obtain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, ensuring you have the tools to make a lasting impact on the families we serve.
Role Overview
As a Behavior Technician, you will work 1-on-1 with children in their homes or at our center to implement clinical programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position follows a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM. Your primary focus is to help our clients build independence, improve communication, and thrive in their daily lives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Direct Client Support
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA.
- Teach essential communication, social, daily living, and play skills.
- Utilize reinforcement strategies to encourage and increase desired behaviors.
- Execute behavior-reduction plans to effectively address challenging behaviors.
- Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress during every session.
Session Preparation & Documentation
- Prepare necessary materials and stimuli for therapy sessions.
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation that meet company and insurance standards.
- Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using digital data-collection software.
Collaboration & Communication
- Regularly communicate with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress and session challenges.
- Participate in team meetings, clinical trainings, and required supervision sessions.
- Provide professional feedback to caregivers under the guidance of the BCBA.
Professional Conduct
- Adhere to the ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Maintain strict client confidentiality (HIPAA) and professional boundaries at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience working with children (preferred but not required; we provide training).
- Skills: Strong communication, patience, and a desire to help children with developmental disabilities.
- Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and reliable transportation to client locations.
