We are committed to improving the lives of children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and related conditions. Using evidence-based techniques in a fun and engaging way, we teach essential skills such as communication, socialization, and daily living skills. We work closely with families and caregivers to create personalized treatment plans that meet each child’s unique needs.
Role Overview
As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. This role focuses on helping children build important life skills through fun, supportive ABA therapy sessions. No prior experience is required — we provide comprehensive training!
Duties & Responsibilities
Direct Client Support
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA.
- Assist with skill acquisition programs, including language, social, and daily living skills.
- Utilize reinforcement strategies and conduct preference assessments to support client progress.
- Execute behavior-reduction procedures as needed.
- Collect accurate, real-time data on clients’ progress toward behavioral goals.
Session Preparation & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress and behavior incidents.
- Track data using company systems and procedures.
Collaboration & Communication
- Provide feedback to parents, teachers, and other caregivers on client progress.
- Work closely with families and the clinical team to ensure consistent support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Professional Conduct
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Represent the organization professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience: No experience required — training provided.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, lively personality, and a genuine enjoyment working with children.
- Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes or schools, ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test.
