Position Overview
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one ABA therapy to children in home and community settings. This role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting skill acquisition, and promoting positive behavioral outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Client Support
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community environments
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Support skill development and behavior goals
Session Documentation & Data Collection
- Record and track client data accurately during sessions
- Complete detailed session notes and timesheets
Collaboration & Communication
- Participate in supervision sessions and team meetings
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Active RBT certification through the BACB (required)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background screening
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
