Position Overview
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one ABA therapy in home settings under the supervision of a BCBA. This role focuses on implementing treatment plans, supporting skill development, and promoting positive behavior change.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Client Support
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home environments
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Follow intervention procedures and support skill development
Session Documentation & Data Collection
- Collect and accurately record data on client progress
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation
Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs
- Provide updates and feedback on client progress
- Maintain professionalism with families and caregivers
Professional Conduct
- Follow BACB ethical guidelines and HIPAA standards
- Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
Qualifications
- Active RBT certification (required)
- Experience working with children (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow structured treatment plans and guidance
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards
