Position Overview
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one ABA therapy across home, school, and clinic settings. This role focuses on implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and supporting positive behavioral outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Client Support
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and clinic environments
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Support skill development and behavior goals
Session Documentation & Data Collection
- Collect and accurately record data on client progress
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families
- Support consistency in treatment plan implementation across settings
Professional Conduct
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive therapy environment
- Follow ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality
Qualifications
- RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- Experience working with children or in ABA (preferred but not required)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
