Position Overview
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one ABA therapy in home settings. This role focuses on implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and supporting skill development in natural environments.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Client Support
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home settings
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Support communication, social, and behavioral skill development
Session Documentation & Data Collection
- Collect and analyze data on client progress
- Prepare documentation for clinical review and reporting
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with BCBAs and team members to ensure program consistency
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers
Qualifications
- Active RBT certification through the BACB (required)
- Experience working with children or adolescents with autism (required)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills and willingness to receive feedback
- Passion for working with individuals with developmental needs
