Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves working collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans and interventions that promote positive behavioral changes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring adherence to best practices in the field.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with industry standards and practices.
- Work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support tailored to their unique needs.
- Engage in special education settings as necessary, collaborating with educators to support students' behavioral goals.
Experience
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis is required.
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation processes is essential.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards is critical.
- Experience working within special education environments is a plus.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and the ability to create effective intervention strategies are necessary.
